Bunnings Penrith — Landscaping in Penrith, NSW

On an extremely hot 44 degree Thursday afternoon, 08/01/2026, a wonderful young man, name LAWSON at Bunnings Jamistown, went above and beyond, to assist us with our purchases. 1st loading 4 bags of mulch, 2 bags potting mix, 2 bags garden soil, roundup and lawn food into our trolley. LAWSON then offered to take the heavy trolley to the check out, for payment, before unloading into the boot of our car. It goes without saying were extremely grateful. Lawson should be highly recognized for his customer service, friendly attitude and definitely is an asset to Bunnings. Thank you Lawson from Dianne & David

We bought a very exspensive outdoor kitchen/bbq . We came to this store because it was one of the only stores that had it in stock as we live in Wilton so we came along way. We got it back home and it had a massive dent in it... we had to drive all the way back and happily it was a easy swap thank goodness they said another one in stock. We were happy that the exchange process was simple

Needed to return a Ryobi charger 4ah. Had no issues until they tried to give us a lower grade charger in place of the 4ah. Then proceeded to tell me as we purchased the charger with a drill they needed the drill to be returned as well. Staff kept saying it works - we use this to charge our tools here. Either way they couldn’t understand they needed to replace faulty product with the same product not an inferior one. Staff then said they didn’t have one, which they did and this was only one available. Complete lies. Bunnings need to educate their staff on returns and consumer law. For a massive company they showed little respect for the consumer.

This is my favourite Bunnings. Good selection of items. Helpful staff. My only issue is sometimes you can’t find someone right away and that can be hard to find someone available. Other than that it’s great for DIY, gardening and some crafty resources😁 once you get someone to talk to they are helpful. I particularly like going to the nursery area, usually I get some herbs and native plants and they do well in my garden in the Lower mountains area. Christmas time is great, they have a lot of outdoors decorations. I also like the selection of indoor plants here.

Little bit of a lunch time rush but that's normally the case at that time. Got everything I was looking for and ended up with some stuff I didn't plan for as normal. If your the type of person that goes to bunnings and sticks to a list and no extra items ended up at checkout.... shame on you lol. Friendly team at penrith good job guys ❤️
