The project management skills of Jeff is second to none with clear communication at each step. The friendly trades on site were not only professional but also very approachable as took time to explain the progress. The administration team of the company were always of assistance when needed. Dear Jeff, I wanted to share my disappointment regarding the treatment I received from your Admin/Front of the House person. She declined to schedule an appointment with your team, stating that my house extension is not feasible based on her experience and knowledge. It's worth noting that she made this determination without conducting a site visit or reviewing the project compliant with current Penrith DCP and BCA. I have a Degree and a Master in Architecture, and have over 15 years of international experience in the building industry. I have never encountered a receptionist with such presumptions in all my career. At the end of the day, I really wanted to support a local building company with my already drawn job, but it seemed that APEX is inclined to remain within their comfort zone and not accepting drawings done by others. Regardless, I strongly suggest to review your staff attitude and approach to prospective clients for future reference. Best of luck. Edit after APEX owner's response: I have never asked for a Certifier (as I already have one from my company) nor pressured anyone with anything done ASAP, as I am thinking of building in late 2025! Please Jeff, double check your excellent notes! Prior to becoming what you referred me to as "a Master of Architect," which does not exist in the current English Language, I am a dedicated full-time working mother of two children, who is in need to expand this 3beds home that I purchased after 7 years of hard work at two jobs. It just happened that one of those jobs is in this industry, and my intention was simply to offer you a pre-approved project with construction drawings ready for building, all while saving money by avoiding drafting and paperwork fees. I believe it is reasonable to cut costs on tasks that we can handle ourselves due to our own profession. Don't you agree? I agree with you that I did respectfully requested Patricia to arrange a meeting with your team in order to avoid wasting her time and mine by explaining a compliant drawing over the phone. However, she continued to argue that my project is not feasible because (according to her Google or real estate map) my double carport cannot be converted into a double garage, despite the fact that I already had the measured drawings. She insisted that I am only allowed to build a single garage! Furthermore, she stated that I cannot change the roof from conventional to trusses because they are too expensive!! (Is she paying for my home extension??) After enduring this unnecessary questioning and argumentation over an already drawn project, I felt unconfortably pressured to disclose to her that I am an architect and that I drew my extension drawings. Rightly so, I knew what I was talking about, but Patricia did not like this and dismissively said that they are not accepting drawings done by others, because they will never be like theirs and always had to re-drew them (so they do accept drawings done by others!). After this affirmation the entire conversation became incredibly frustrating! I trust everyone will be disappointed and disheartened by this negative approach and non existing customer service! Jeff, I believe you may have overlooked a straightforward job because of your employee's ego. I am confident that this review, along with your response, will provide valuable insights for potential customers regarding your company's client screening process. Best wishes to APEX, will certainly require it, more so than I do.

Jeff, Chris and Rob did a great job of renovating our home turning our dream into reality. Workmanship is really good. Chris came out and explained everything to us. Rob finished the job before the given timeline. Jeff and his wonderful team were always available to answer our questions. Trust me, we had quite a few. We have received a lot of compliments from our family and friends. I'm so glad that we got our renovations done with Apex Alterations.

Thank you Apex for the awesome transition from a single story to a double story home. The design process was very thorough and our ideas and inclusions were implemented thoughtfully. Our home now presents with modern inclusions and greet workmanship. We have received many compliments from trades people (not affiliated with Apex) as well as friends/neighbours who claim that it is one of the best first floor additions they have seen. The building process was relatively smooth with little disruption to us while still living in the home. We highly recommend Apex for your renovation to make your home your dream home.

Apex did an upstairs addition for us. Jeff understood our requirement, planned and finally converted our concept to a reality. He made every step of the construction process look very simple.The costs were reasonable and his team of professionals did an excellent job.
