NBG Landscapes — Garden Design in Pyrmont, NSW

We chose NBG based on the excellent job they did for a neighbour and for their competitive quote. James, Jordan, Liam and the rest of the team were great to work with. As the job was for a small although slightly complicated space, we proceeded without a formal drawn design. This worked out well because the day before the team started we discussed the job on site with James and Jordan and decided to add to the job the removal of a stand of bamboo, the construction of a hardwood privacy screen and slightly extending the proposed deck to have a smaller enclosed garden bed. James provided a quote for the extra work that afternoon which we approved. The team had to work around a rainwater first-flush pit, an exposed water pipe running from the water tank to a rear outside tap and a sewer pipe buried not far from soil level. Removing the bamboo with its underground roots was a major effort. As soil was removed for the deck and its footings, some initial ideas had to be reworked and Jordan, as foreman, was extremely helpful in solving problems and coming up with efficient and effective solutions. The team started on time each day of the two week job, completed the build with an attention to detail and left the site clean and tidy. The new deck, small garden bed, privacy screen and paving have turned out even better than we expected. We are happy to highly recommend the NBG team.

We had a great experience with NBG with our front and back landscaping including a driveway. Ivan and James spent time with us upfront on site to understand what we wanted to achieve. The concept plans enabled us to visualise how the garden would look. They gave us lots of great ideas / suggestions and we were able to update and adjust in the design phase. The site works went well too. James communicated clearly on timing and was flexible when we needed to move some parts around. The team worked hard, were easy to have on site and the works were done to a high standard. James was easy to contact and a pleasure to deal with. We would happily recommend James and NBG to anyone needing landscaping help.

Picked NBG based on the reviews and we were not disappointed! James and his team were great to deal with. Kept within budget and offered practical, cost effective alternatives. Sam, Liam and the team were great to have on site. Always turned up on time, took the time to explain what they were doing each day and were very tidy. They did a quality job with real attention to detail and getting it right. We would definitely recommend them !!

We had a very positive experience with NBG landscapes and would highly recommend. From the planning stages with Ivan, to the beautiful plant selections with James, it was a seamless process. Workmanship was excellent, timely and surprisingly undisruptive. The team were fantastic. Our son loves the basketball half court too. We were so impressed we are getting the team back for Stage 2, the frontyard!

We engaged NBG Landscapes to transform our tired and dated garden into a modern, inviting outdoor entertaining space. Together with James and his designer, Ivan, we were able to come up with a design and concept plan that is modern and functional. NBG provided excellent advice on the garden design and planting selection. We found the entire team at NBG to be professional, friendly, knowledgeable and importantly responsive.
