My wife and I recently engaged Mark and his team from Action Landscapes to assist in the design and construction of a landscape around our newly completed secondary residence on acreage in outer Northwest Sydney. The project was quite extensive, involving design, engineering and construction. Multiple retaining walls (both large sandstone block and hollow engineered cement filled) steps, paved travertine over concrete outdoor entertainment areas, rollout lawns, garden beds, driveways and paths. As this project was not a standalone property the landscaping had to take to account the existing dwelling and surrounds in the design. The Action team were a delight to work with, always attending when weather permitted. They showed rare enthusiasm and pride in their work. As the project evolved Marks willingness and flexibility to achieve the best, most cost-effective outcome was a strong point and much appreciated. Marks industry connections and resources delivered some great subcontractors and skilled trades people. His ability to enlarge the onsite team from time to time really helped in the efficient handling of time sensitive tasks like large concrete pours. This project took 8 weeks and we were delighted with the outcome. There was never a harsh word or disagreement over the whole period of construction.
