After an exhaustive selection process (we researched more than 100 architects) we engaged CplusC to do the renovation design and build of an 1880s terrace house in McMahons Point, Sydney. We’re so, so glad we did!!! Throughout the 2 year design and 1 year build process we worked very closely with CplusC making, what amounted to, thousands of decisions in collaboration with them. The result: a home we could not be happier with. CplusC’s approach to fully understand and take into consideration our requirements whilst ensuring a sustainable, creative, innovative design and build means we now have a home that not only suits exactly how we want to live but also takes into consideration the heritage character of an 1880s terrace and the need to minimize our carbon foot print. Working with CplusC, as an architect and builder, meant the process from initial engagement right through to handover was efficient and seamless. We've now been in the house for more than 4 years; when we've had the odd issue arise, eg, we noticed a leak as a result of a sudden, severe, downpour, CplusC responds quickly and are fixing the problem within a day or two of being notified; even when the issue is not related to the design or build, eg, some subsequent ideas we had about the garden, CplusC are happy to provide their thoughts and advice. If you're looking for a team of professionals that ensure they understand your requirements, challenge your existing paradigms, offer innovative solutions, are able to creatively integrate old (heritage) and new, regard sustainability as a priority whilst balancing the need for liveability and are great to work with during and after the project then, in our opinion, CplusC MUST be on your "we have to meet with them" list!

Having not lived in Sydney for over 20 years and also not lived in a “traditional house” as a family it was a challenge to define a home we wanted. The brief was brief. Not having air conditioning - unheard of! (We have installed one but only use it once a year ) .Not having to go through the tendering process for a builder was huge relieve . Clinton’s enthusiasm was infectious. Instincts told us he was the one who will build us our family home where our children will transcend from young children to now young adults (who will not leave us). Tranquility and nature is central within the Iron Maiden as it stands proud on a very busy corner of the street. It is our fortress. Not only had we struck a good with rapport with Clinton and his team - we trusted that they will deliver what we wanted. Hence a fews years on, when we decided to build a holiday home that will stay for generations, we decided to re-engage CPlusC who went on to build Balmy Palmy. While both homes are very different in size and scope, they share similar concepts and designs that allows us to live close to all of nature - abundance of light, warmth from a gorgeous sunsets and sunrise and the breeze from the ocean that cools us down from not only a hot summers day but calms us from our frantic days in the city.

We initially met with Clinton in 2013 to discuss our renovation plans and despite being extremely impressed with his ideas we ultimately went with a different company. After months and months of poor communication and lacklustre design concepts with the other company, we contacted Clinton again for advice and with a view to transferring the project to him. He not only assisted us with the difficult circumstance, he presented us with a brand new and dynamic design that we were blown away by. The whole design process with Clinton and his amazing team was stress-free and enjoyable. Clinton's communication is excellent and we certainly appreciated his no-nonsense approach after our previous nightmare experience. I would highly recommend CPlusC to anyone in need of an amazing renovation design concept! Thank you CplusC for our beautiful home!

We chose CplusC to design our renovations as we loved their aesthetics and use of space , especially their use of wood in their designs. We found that they were attentive and creative throughout the briefing process . They were also flexible, allowing us to use our own builder ‘Acacia Build’ instead of using their contractors. We were thrilled with the final result of an elegant, liveable and spacious home. Thank you CplusC
