Just wanting clarify something from my daughter’s review, her review was correct and the staff member did make me feel that she was questioning my ability to afford what I was asking for. Further I was asking specific questions about the capabilities of the pump I was looking for and those questions were not being answered, and I was continually steered towards another brand of pump without my questions being answered. Also it was not 4.45pm in the afternoon as I then visited two other pump places after I was there one of which was a 20min drive away and then spent over an hour at that place where I had all my questions answered completely. Furthermore my neighbor had rung for another reason and one of the guys in your shop asked him about what I wanted and when my neighbor told him I had sorted it somewhere else he said ‘oh good I’ll go back to resting then’. Furthermore when I was contacted the following week by the staff member she very briefly discussed the pump but was more interested in asking me to take down the review my daughter had posted, I told her that i hadn’t seen it but would have a look and consider taking it down if it wasn’t correct- it was correct so I left it there.

Recently we have had some issues with our tanks and our plumber by process of elimination determined that the pump with sucking air from somewhere and we decided we’d rather purchase a new one as that one was a fair few years old. My mother headed into Valley Irrigation and was asking about Grunfos pumps which Valley Irrigation are supposedly a dealer for and the sales woman kept trying to steer her away from them and wouldn’t answer her questions and said “you don’t want that one it’s $3000 and you can’t afford that”. My mother’s response of “that’s not for you to determine” went unanswered. Why would you steer someone away from spending $3000 at your business? Makes no sense to me and is quite frankly disgusting behaviour. Will not use these guys again.

I recently ordered and picked up some drainage coils and geo fabric. Georgette ensured my order was put aside and the man at the desk loaded it into the trailer for me. I don't hesitate going to Valley Irrigation - always find helpful, friendly people who really know their products.
