Mount Gravatt Lookout has been a go-to spot in Brissy for years. Vehicle approach via Shire Road/ Mount Gravatt Lookout Drive or hiking access via Summit Track. Plenty of vehicle parking here, lookout platform, public toilets and a restaurant. Actually a nice view of the city from the south, not as high as Moun Coot-tha, but still impressive. For those dog walking, there is outside dog friendly seating at the Lovewell Cafe.

Stunning views from the summit lookout. Beautiful trails leading down the mountain through the bush. Seen my first wild Koala bear here 🐨

Nice views of the city and southern suburbs. Plenty of trees in between, so the view is not as wide as Mt Coot-Tha, but quite decent. Very fresh air due to the surrounding bushland.

Beautiful outlook toward city view, walk up about half hour, and climb 170m. Easy access and you can find out lot of animals.

Mt Gravatt Lookout is honestly one of my favourite spots in Brisbane! The drive up is short but scenic, and when you reach the top, you’re greeted with a view that makes you stop for a moment and just go… wow. 🌇It’s the perfect place to catch the sunset the sky lights up in layers of gold and orange, and you can see the city stretching out below. Some of the trees are getting a bit tall and block a few of the buildings, but that doesn’t spoil the magic one bit. In fact, it adds a nice touch of nature to the view. What I really love is how peaceful and relaxing it feels up there. Whether you’re with family or your partner, it’s a lovely place to just sit, talk, and soak up the moment as the sun slowly dips below the horizon. You also get to watch planes coming and going from Brisbane Airport, which makes the view feel alive and ever-changing. There’s a small café at the top if you fancy a coffee or a cold drink while enjoying the breeze. Point to note is that the cafe closes a bit early, so there's that. Anyway, parking can be a little tricky when it’s busy, but trust me it’s worth the trip.
