Had a peaceful moment with my partner at the rotunda, just sitting and soaking in the river breeze. There’s something timeless about the structure that makes you want to pause and breathe. Not too crowded when we went, which made it feel even more special. Wouldn’t mind coming back for a lazy Sunday with a coffee and a book. Definitely a charming corner of New Farm.

As a photographer, this place is beautiful. I was down for Thursday night local thing. And it really comes alive at night, too. I want to go back on a quiet to get photos. But there was a couple (it looked like dancing lessons maybe). It's the perfect place to do a night shoot. The lighting was warm and could make for great engagement announcement photos or anything really. These were all taken just next to the Rotunda.

New Farm Park would have to be one of our favourite parks in Brisbane. We especially love when the Jacaranda trees are in full bloom. New Farm Park is also a special place for us as in 2017 we held our 10 year vow renewal ceremony at the park. It was beautiful. We’ve also spent many of times having picnics and celebrating special events at the park with friends.

Very pleasant park with a nice large walkway along the riverfront. Cafe on the water under the Powerhouse Museum and other small coffee shop at the end of the walkway. Family and dog friendly. City cat access.
