Whole Yards did a great job on my retaining wall. There was good attention to detail and good communication. They tidied up every day and left the site in good shape at the endnof the job. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant work on a hot humid day, the Whole Yards garden team began the task of clearing our front and back gardens of forty years of undergrowth. The team worked solidly, cleanly and good-naturedly throughout the day with necessary breaks. They sometimes referred back to me which was helpful. Now our once tired old garden areas look neat, tidy and presentable. If you want a solid professional garden team I can recommend Whole Yards.

A team of four recently visited our property to trim our hedges and deal with the overgrowth beyond the immediate backyard. Their quality of work was excellent and they left our property in a very neat and much improved state, which is very much appreciated. In addition, the very friendly, respectful and positive manner in which these four men presented themselves and carried on their work wowed us, basically guaranteeing we'll be using them again when the time comes. These workers are an absolute credit to Whole Yards and I can thoroughly recommend them to anyone needing help with their property. Six stars!

Really disappointing service all in all. I contacted While Yards after getting a magnet in the mailbox. I was temporarily unable to do my yard due to an accident so needed someone to do a regular mow and yard clean. I spoke to Chris the estimator and explained what I wanted done and how I wanted it done - I had some issues in the past with a lawn company who had killed the grass with a whipper snipper. Chris was really good and highlighted what they could do and how good it would look. The quote was really high but but he explained that it would be a couple of guys and they were going to do the garden beds and the stones area around the back. There had been a lot of rain and rescheduling due to the ex-tropical cyclone Alfred. When they arrived they in and out really quickly and had skipped half the job, they moved the lawns and hedged a couple of hedges and left. They actually did 3/4 of one of the hedges at the front leaving long shoots at the back. Someone also stepped on and broke a sprinkler head in the garden when trying to trim the hedge! The lawn was really uneven and they didn’t edge it all the way around - leaving grass growing over bricks and long bits of grass at the edges. They didn’t blow and clear leaves from any of the stoned area or spray the weeds, they left grass clippings blown into the pool yard on the bricks. I initially wasn’t sure if the job was completed and thought maybe they were coming back but then I got the invoice for immediate payment. I sent an Email to follow up with photos and my concerns but did not hear back. I followed up with a phone call and the lady I had been speaking with during the booking process said she had not seen the Email as the Email address I sent it to goes somewhere else but she would get it and call me back in 10 minutes. I didn’t hear back so I called back 4 days later and they acknowledged that they had received and reviewed the Email and seen the photos and were not sure what had happened but offered to comeback and fix all the parts they had missed - aside from the grass they had edged down to the dirt. I politely declined the offer for them to return and paid the bill in full. They did not offer a discount but in fairness they did the job they quoted but the standard was really poor. I asked about the estimator as he had really sold the quality of the service but was informed he had left the company. Sasha in the office was really good to deal with, it was difficult as due to the rain there was a lot of rescheduling, but all in all the actual quality of the service they performed was really average.
