Clare James Landscape Design — Garden Design in Sherwood, QLD

It was a pleasure to work with Clare to upgrade the landscaping front and back. It was a large job and Clare listened to what we were looking for. We enjoy gardening and had an extensive collection of potted plants that we wanted to include in the final garden. Clare worked with us to include many of our existing plants. The final design has definitely captured the style that we were looking for. We are doing the planting ourselves and are nearly there. It will look amazing in 12 months when the planting has established and filled out.

Working with Clare has been a delight. She quickly, but thoughtfully, understood my needs and was able to translate that to a wonderful vision and detailed plan. After much deliberation, I settled on Clare James to design our front garden. I had admired her previous work and her design for our garden did not disappoint. The design took full advantage of the site and the plants chosen both look amazing and are well suited to the exposed hillside position. What was previously an unused area has been transformed into a beautiful space which we now enjoy every day. Thank you Clare. We absolutely love it!

Clare has designed both our back garden (three years ago) and now our front garden. Both exercises have been transformational! Clever design married to excellent plant selection. We love to spend time in the two gardens and enjoy the low maintenance/high reward environment. Clare sources very good quality, healthy plants. Highly recommended!

Clare was fantastic in coming up with a planting plan for our new build. Everything looks fantastic and has grown so well. Clare was flexible with a couple of changes I requested on her first plan and was also great at communicating timelines and what I could expect throughout the process. Having detailed plans also really helped us to do the work ourselves and put the plants in the right spots.
