Peter is as shonky as they come. Although his retaining wall is well built, the way he left our family home is disgusting and very unprofessional. He's damaged eaves and gutters, damaged our fence beyond repair, cracked our concrete walkway and damaged our pool fence and we can no longer close our pool gate. He was a nice guy until we paid him and then he turned like a brown snake. Steer clear of these idiots and choose someone more professional who will take care with your house

We had a really unhappy experience with Cropper Brothers building our 1.8 metre retaining wall. They were pleasant enough for the quoting of course, but as soon as they experienced problems due to their increasingly apparent technical incompetence, they threatened to leave the job unfinished to start their next project. We had to really jump through hoops to get it finished. They also would start calling and texting within HOURS of issuing us an invoice demanding payment even though we paid that same day. They really treated us with contempt during the whole ordeal and no doubt once this review goes up we'll get a fresh round of phone calls at all hours of the day demanding we remove our reviews. And of course a whole bunch of instant 5 star reviews will appear after we post this. What they really should do is just treat their customers with respect rather than disdain and if things don't quite go according to plan, the brothers should roll up their sleeves and get stuck in and help their employees, and remember that they are there to please their customers, not the other way around. Don't be angry at the customer for your incompetence, be critical of yourself and become better at what you do. They eventually finished the job, about $10,000 over budget. The workmanship was pretty ordinary too, considering the amount of money we paid. Our advice is to always check the builders QBCC licence out on the QBCC website. This will show you if they have lost points on their licence, and why and also if they've been fined. We wish we'd realised this before we hired the Cropper Brothers as a quick search might have saved us a lot of hassle.

We don’t normally write reviews but you guys done such a fantastic job we felt it’s just another way to show our appreciation for not only the fantastic work done but for your honesty all the way through the job. Cropper Bro’s went above and beyond to satisfy my wife and I in everything we wanted for our space, they kept us well informed all the way through the job.
