Would highly recommend Tom and his team. They were very communicative throughout the process and clearly outlined what they could do. I needed to trim down some large branches on a dead blue gum tree and they did a fantastic job without any damage in the garden. He also did a habitat hollow 🙌 well done!

Long Story Short If you live in Adelaide and need any trees or stumps removed this IS the company you are looking for. Big job or small job? No problem. A complex job with restricted access? They will work something out. They are professionals with a high work ethic. They are cautious to not damage any nearby surrounding plants. They will let you keep the wood (cut to make splitting easy) and all of the woodchip/mulch if you request it, or they will take everything away with them and are excellent regarding post-cleanup. My initial assessment and quote was done on time, with no pressure whatsoever to commit if I felt the need to see some other competitor quotes first. Although personally I wouldn't bother as "value for money" regarding this company is an understatement. They don't charge more than what is necessary to get the job done while refusing to cut any corners that could result in a poor outcome. Which is exactly what you want from a company like this. I can't recommend Peter and his crew enough. Call them. You won't be disappointed. Short Story Long Do you remember the "good ol' days"? When it was the standard for business owners to take pride in their own businesses? When customer satisfaction was a genuine goal to achieve rather than just a website catchphrase? When they gave you actual "personalised service" and hired skilled employees because they cared about their reputation via word of mouth and aspired to build up a database of repeat customer clientele? Neither do I. These are the standards that my mum and grandmother told me about regarding the days before I was born. But very rarely, every now and again I have actually encountered one of these strange anomalies in the modern world. ... and I present to you. "Adelaide Hills Tree & Stump Removal". These guys are true professionals. Possessing a now uncommonly seen old school work ethic but armed with modern equipment. While I watched them working it quickly became obvious what justified each and every dollar being spent. The safety of themselves, their workmates, their clients (myself and my mother) and our property was consistently front and foremost, every challenge that presented itself overcome masterfully and quickly in a way that can only come with a certain level of expertise of your profession. I watched as they dismantled a large tree piece by piece with absolute precision like watching a complex puzzle being undone before my eyes. Every fallen branch expertly guided to the ground to avoid damaging any nearby structures and plants. The initial assessor and his dog (Billie) were on time, friendly, listened carefully to everything that we wanted and quoted us a reasonable price. All of the main work crew was personable and not even once treated any of my silly questions as if I was stupid for asking. Peter Miller (the main man) truly went above and beyond to help my mum and myself with a specific problem which required a not insignificant amount of extra work... and afterwards despite not being part of the original quote still refused to take a single extra cent saying "All we want is your mum to feel happy about the service"... which I can comfortably tell you, she definitely was. This business is the literal definition of a "good ol' days" true blue Aussie company. Hardworking, honest, no attempts to slip in additional fees and charges, eager and willing to answer any and all questions, will give out free advice post-work to prevent any future potential problems that an untrained eye might not be aware of and are willing to go "above and beyond" to meet (and exceed) client expectations. It is exceedingly unusual for me to recommend a company of any kind outright without any "if's and but's" attached. But regarding "Adelaide Hills Tree & Stump Removal" if you have any trees or stumps you need removed... my suggestion is to stop reading this review right now, pick up the phone and call them up for a free quote without hesitation. 10/10

There's a good reason that Pete and the team have such great reviews. I got quotes from three different companies for a fairly large job (20 trees removed and 10 pruned) and I'm so happy I ended up choosing this team. They were professional, competent and above all friendly and great to work with. I couldn't recommend them more highly for any job, big or small.
