If aesthetics are important I was told by the warranty department a sagging tank is normal… this tank is less than 12 months old! WARRANTY NON EXISTENT! They send email saying they will rectify after seeing these reviews but do nothing! You are sent to their warranty section which is useless and never respond to emails!! When they eventually do they will say you have voided your warranty if you backfill against the tanks.

Fantastic service, always willing to help and went out of their way to get my tank to me sooner than expected. It’s great quality and I’m very impressed. Thank you so much, I’ll be back for others.

This is what a $3000 tank looks like from team poly. And no, its not a Factory second, according to the CEO This is and i quote “a reflection of their moulds” If you’re going to buy from anything 22,500 or bigger, make sure you get to see it or photos of it first. The areas you see in the photos feel thinner and the CEO just says “ you’ve got a warranty if it leaks” - The warranty is pro-rata Something just isn't right, you decide. Do you want to take a chance of your tank delivered to your house and it turns up looking like this?

Leaky tanks with weird warranties. Bought six tanks from Team Poly in 2022 and 2023. They are only small tanks, but I found a leak on the main seam earlier this year. It was probably leaking for much longer, but it only became obvious when I added some iron sulphate solution to the water, so it possible some of the other tanks are also leaking too but aren’t obvious. Wasn’t looking for compo, more just to let them know about a manufacturing quality issue they may want to address in future. They didn’t seem surprised by the leak at all – but I was instantly told they wouldn’t do anything to honour a warranty any-way, and they then sent me a warranty document about warranties – but this document did not mention anything about using their tanks for ‘non-potable’ water? The main point being, their tanks have manufacturing issues they are not really concerned about, so take that as you may When I mentioned their ‘warranty document’ didn’t mention anything about ‘non-potable water’ – they simply ignored - and instead sent me the details of someone if I wanted to pay to get it fixed. I wouldn’t bother with an expensive repair, a bit of butyl tape = no-worries - but other customers that may care about how their tanks look in their gardens, butyl tape = eww. The irony being, that every single tank supplied by Team Poly had bits of plastic and plastic shavings floating around inside them, so much so that my water delivery contractors were surprised to see: The Waterman - “wow- they left all that stuff floating around in there? Jeez, that’s not very good” Me - “it’s ok, I would never drink water from these tanks anyway – I wouldn’t consider these tanks for potable water.” So if you use a Team Poly tank in you garden, as many people do, and add anything to the water, they now say any warranty you think you may have is VOID. Adding some SeaSol to water your petunias = VOID Adding some liquid feed for your roses = VOID Adding some vinegar or bicarb solution to reduce stagnant water sitting over summer = VOID Adding PH balancer to help your lawn = VOID Using the tanks in camps or isolated locations or under trees with leaf litter where you need to let your customers know the unfiltered rain-water is ‘NON-POTABLE’ = VOID Adding some chlorine to the water .. well… now that’s tricky…. even though chlorine is highly toxic and corrosive… chlorine is potable – so I guess = NO VOID! Of course, not really mentioned in their secret warranty document, so how can we be sure? The stain is from some garden variety iron sulphate mixed with 4500 litres to help my plants alkalinity – the water evaporated from the leak leaving the iron sulphate behind, so the manufacturing defect on the seam became 100% visible. My next 15 tanks will be from another manufacturer, as Team Poly really don’t show any concern for their manufacturing processes or stand by their quality Comments below, I guess! -
