Josh from Rock Culture SA just completed our front boundary retaining wall and we are delighted with it! Our goal was to reduce the steep slope of our garden to enable better planting for usability and privacy. We preferred boulders over dry stone walling, and Josh was recommended to us for that speciality. Through discussions with Josh we decided on a stacked bluestone wall with pockets for planting. The result is amazing and better than we expected. Josh does not just stack rocks - far from it - he carefully selects each rock from the quarry and then works out the perfect 'home' for it in the wall, rejecting rocks that don't look or sit right. Others have mentioned his attention to detail, and we agree. This extends to fixing up the inevitable damage done by the delivery of boulders and use of machinery around the site. It was a pleasure to work with Josh and Anna throughout the quote, design and build process. They were easy to communicate with and accomodating of our suggestions. We would use them again and won't hesitate to recommend their services to others.

I had seen one of Josh's jobs earlier this year and was impressed. We needed a moss rock retaining wall done at our house in Happy Valley . Josh was patient and listened to our requirements and executed them perfectly. Would highly recommend Rock Culture to anyone.
