Michael Perry Botanic Reserve — Landscaping in Stonyfell, SA

Despite it's diminutive size, it's a beautiful nature reserve rather than a park. Narrow paths through beautiful gardens featuring name plaques for the flora, with a creek running through it. The creek is dammed at intervals, leading to miniature flowering ponds, with one especially large one containing deep water when in February. A great place to walk your dogs and yourself, though you may find yourself doing two or three laps to get a nice long walk in.

Beautiful reserve with a variety of plants and trees. Very shady for a hot day.

Great little leisurely walk in Burnside. It's like a botanic garden. Very relaxing and can take the second river walk a ways.

This is such a beautiful place to walk and explore. The effort that has gone the diverse species of native plants is eye catching. Along with efforts put into the creek bed and the paths in more recent years. Always leave here feeling relief :)

It was nice coming back after so many years. I was a part of the team that helped with the woody weeds clean up in 2016. The reserve has been generally looked after and maintained with new paths and plants still being added. It's great to see so many people and pets continuing to enjoy the space as well.
