Oh my goodness. If you have not been here yet, you are missing out! Great location, and the food has flavor and depth. Lambs neck was melt in the mouth and the Rosemary Creme brulee is as close to perfection as you could get. We also ordered pizzas and the beef rib which I was told was delicious too. Well worth the drive out and some great walks in the area to explore too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing service and beautifully fresh food in a stunning setting. Topiary at Newman’s Nursery is the perfect spot to relax, with friendly staff, a warm atmosphere and dishes that showcase quality local ingredients. The bonus of wandering through the well-kept nursery with its great range makes this place a unique and irresistible experience. What a treat to live so close!

We had the “settle” for two. The food was tasty, with some dishes excellent. For me the main was very small hence the lower rating. I’d have thought twice the amount of octopus would have been reasonable and I’m a smaller chap. For a meal like this at other restaurants, I nearly always leave satisfied, but this time I was hungry. My favourite was the cured fish and desert.

I had lunch at Topiary today, and honestly, it’s hard to fault. The setting is something special, tucked into the grounds of Newman’s Nursery, surrounded by history and greenery. Inside, it’s understated but elegant, with thoughtful table settings that immediately put you at ease and make you feel like you’re in for something good. The menu reads like a love letter to food. Everything is made using locally sourced produce, and there’s not a processed ingredient in sight. You can taste the quality in every dish. If you’ve got food allergies, you’re in excellent hands. The staff are switched on and the chef is more than happy to tweak things so you’re not left out. Even the gluten-free table bread, grilled with infused oil was a bit of a revelation. It had the depth and chew of proper sourdough, which is no small feat. I won’t single out any particular dish, because the menu shifts with the seasons, but every bite we had was a winner. There were actual sighs of pleasure at the table. The service was sharp, the food was exceptional, and the whole experience left me wanting to come back before we’d even finished dessert. If you haven’t been, go. This place is a gem in the Tea Tree Gully foothills and absolutely worth the trip.

Absolutely beautiful cafe/restaurant in tea tree gully. Small inside area with a beautiful setting. Feels very upscale, with great attention to detail. Went for breakfast on a weekday morning and it was relatively quiet. Coffee and tea was great and whilst the menu is on the smaller side it is varied enough for everyone. Food itself was absolutely delicious. I love that they use produce from their garden just out the front. Cafe had a lovely ambiance. Would definitely return.
