They’re exceptionally knowledgeable about all kinds of gear (mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, blowers…) and carry premium brands like STIHL, Masport and Victa so they’re not just tinkering, they’re working with the best in the field.

Popped in to Ashburton Mowers to have a look at the Stihl Battery Secateurs. A+ service from owner Janine who really knows her stuff! Bought the secateurs and they are fabulous! I’ve been chopping like a madwoman, they are so easy to use and incredibly sharp. My lemon tree may never recover. I had an old motor mower serviced by Ashburton Mowers and the service turnaround was very quick. When I took the mower home I was unaware that I got the choke cable caught up when taking the mower out of the car which made the choke very tight and I could not adjust it properly. I called Ashburton Mowers and the gentleman that serviced my mower came out and adjusted the cable and helped set up my mower cutting height and made sure I was comfortable with operating the mower as I am new to mowing. My mower is working very well and the customer service at Ashburton Mowers is excellent.

Brought our Victa lawnmower here for a very overdue full service. Jake was polite, friendly and helpful. Job was completed quickly and mower starts and cuts much better now. Replaced parts were returned with the mower which provided further confidence in the work done. Also previously bought a Stihl hedge trimmer here which works well.
