We had a fantastic experience with the Planning Arborist. Communication was exceptional from the outset - they responded within hours, inspected the ppty the next day and delivered the report the day after. Their approach felt very thoughtful and solutions approached and they followed through exactly on what they promised. The advice was clear, practical and professionally presented and they were easy to deal with throughout the process. Highly recommend for anyone needing an arborist or planning related advice.

I engaged Ryan to do an arborist report for a town planning permit in around October 2024. He made a fundamental mistake in putting a nonsense preservation on some valueless trees that were clearly identified in the architecture design that must be removed. That caused the city council to enforce the preservation that hinders my design unbuildable. It costs me some $1,500 to submit s72 for the city council to remove the preservation. I asked him to reimburse me the cost which he refused. Nevertheless, I continued to ask him to do the TMP for me which he agreed to do it for $500. I paid him the money in full on Thursday the 30th of January 2025 when he promised to provide the TMP to me on Monday the 3rd of February 2025 which he did not. I call him many times without any response. Then I SMSed him to which he responded promising to give me the TMP by Tuesday the 4th of February 2025 which again he did not do. I called him again many times and SMSed him. Not any response at all! So, he has effectively taken my money without providing his services. This is a robbery not an arborist. I have since asked him to refund my money many times so that I can engage someone else to do the job for me. They have refused. Instead, they provided me a TMP with full of errors on February 4, 2025. I responded to the email and asked them to correct the mistakes which Mr. Ryan agreed. After many chasing ups, he finally sends me the TMP again on February 13, 2025 with exactly the same one sent to me on February 4., 2025! After one more round, Ryan sent me the wrong TMP again on February 13, 2025. I have to go to my neighbor’s backyard to measure the palm tree by myself and to send Ryan the photos showing the correct measurements on 18 February. I have since chased him up for the corrected TMP without any response from him. Out of curiosity, I drive to the address listed in the website, 51 Rathdowne St, Carlton VIC 3053 Australia. It is in fact a fake place. That building is Exhibition Mews. The business is nowhere to be found in the big residential building. I make this review with nothing but the truth. If you don’t believe me, try your luck to contact these people via the mobile phone number provided on their website, especially after you pay them. Good luck with you if you can ever get any answer.

I wanted an assessment of a large gum tree to ensure it was not a danger to persons and property. Ryan came to examine my tree and discuss options for its management. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and I thoroughly recommend his services.
