Acre — Garden Design in Collingwood, VIC

When it comes to landscape architecture, Brett Robinson is exceptional. He worked with us on the redesign of a large parcel of largely barren coastal land in the context of the refurbishment of a 50 year old home. In addition to Landscape, Brett also helped us with design choices for the exterior of the house, to ensure it tied in with the hard and soft lanscape he designed. Brett was there from the inception of the project, and saw it through to the end, working closely with our landscaper and pool builder. The project was very complicated, on a highly compromised steep site. I coined the term "Acre Magic" early on. His ideas are fantastic and he creates amazing spaces with beautiful plant and materials selection. He has wonderful taste but he was able to meet our budgetary constraints without compromising on the beauty of the landscape. In addition to design, Brett demonstrated an exceptional ability to resolve issues throughout our build program. It really was quite extraordinary how quickly he could jump onto issues as they arose in order to keep the builders working. I would highly recommend Brett for your landscape architecture. He's incredibly talented and is the vision behind the "Acre Magic". Thank you, Brett!

There’s something very distinctive that Acre brings to the discipline of landscape architecture. We would’ve been happy with a pleasant garden, but it was clear that under the stewardship of Brett Robinson and his team, we were going to end up with something very special. Indeed, the living, breathing ecosystem we have been gifted has far surpassed our expectations. Every part of the garden makes perfect sense within its context. Each shrub, tree and blade of grass has been thoughtfully considered and given its rightful place. Essentially, Acre went beyond building a garden and instead created a sanctuary that makes us feel as if our home is a destination. It's impossible to fully convey how happy we are with Acre.
