Blume Landscapes — Garden Design in Frankston, VIC

We worked with Matt and his team at Blume to renovate and build a beautiful back garden, and we could not be happier with the final outcome they delivered. From the beginning, we knew we needed someone with a very keen eye and strong attention to detail, especially as we had chosen a paving stone that required real talent and skill to lay correctly. Matt accomplished this perfectly. It wasn’t just the paving, either — the project included everything from completely demolishing and clearing the old backyard to building new decking, a BBQ area, garden beds, planting, irrigation, lighting, a water feature, and new fencing. Everything was planned, managed, and executed with the finest attention to detail. Matt was also incredibly professional throughout the entire process. From our first meeting, he immediately understood our goals and had thoughtful ideas on how to bring our landscape designer’s vision to life. He provided a detailed quote and took the time to walk us through each line item so we knew exactly what was involved. Communication was excellent — he kept us informed about expectations, timelines, and each day’s goals. Matt and his team always turned up when they said they would, and he was readily available whenever we needed to discuss anything. I can’t recommend Matt and the team at Blume highly enough. We are thrilled with the result, and he will be our first call when we start our next garden project.

We are absolutely delighted with the work Matt and his team from Blume Landscapes recently finished on our driveway. For 16 months, the fine gravel surface of our second car spot had been a constant source of frustration, getting tracked into the house and our shoes. The west-facing driveway also gets incredibly hot in the summer. We wanted a solution that wouldn't absorb and radiate heat like traditional paving, and on Matt’s expert advice, we decided on grass pavers. It was a brilliant solution that not only allows a car to park there but also has a welcome cooling effect. The execution was flawless. Matt and his team were hard-working and meticulous, carefully preparing the site and then laying the pavers and inserting very small patches of turf with incredible precision to fit our oddly-shaped space perfectly. The entire team was also extremely friendly, tidy, and thoughtful, always taking great care of our property while they worked. We are so pleased with the result and would not hesitate to highly recommend Blume Landscapes. Their professionalism and attention to detail were second to none.

Mathew and his team Were very courteous and did a professional job. He has an eye for detail, great knowledge base for plants and is very creative. He was able to match what plants would survive the salt coming off the beach, and a turf that would survive two toddlers and a Labrador retriever. Also after he has finished the job, he has been contactable if we had any further questions. Would highly recommend and rehire for future projects.
