We recently engaged Package Landscape to complete a full upgrade of our childcare outdoor play spaces, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. During the initial design phase, the team was open and collaborative, taking the time to understand our vision for an open plan play space that encouraged exploration and free movement. We wanted only a few permanent areas such as a sandpit and mud pit, and they delivered exactly that while still ensuring the space was practical, engaging, and developmentally appropriate for young children. Their attention to detail and understanding of how children engage with outdoor environments was evident throughout the process. They offered expert suggestions and design improvements while always staying true to our goals. One of the most impressive aspects was how quickly and efficiently they completed the project. I have had the pleasure of working with Package Landscapes on 2 children’s playgrounds at our centres in East Melbourne. With both projects there was support from design to completion. We had very firm ideas on what the outcome should provide for the children who use the play spaces. There was never a problem in the collaboration of the design, and changes we requested to be made late in the design stage were made without us feeling we were bothersome. Any questions or clarification I had, and there were many, were answered in a timely manner, and I wasn’t made to feel like I was being an annoyance. We had the same goal, to provide the best playground within the spaces we have for the budget we set. My thanks go to Dave, Chris, Will and Tash for their part in the yard development process. I also have to give a big shout out to Kane and his team for implementing the design. They were beyond amazing. The attention to detail on the construction was beyond my expectations. We couldn’t have had a better team building our yards. A massive thank you to Package Landscapes for creating yards the children love to play in.
