The Scape Artist — Garden Design in Lake Gardens, VIC

Having recently built our new home, we consulted Paddy Milne at The Scape Artist to design and create our garden space. We had nothing but dirt (and mud!). Paddy & Sonia spent time with us to understand our love for the garden and our thoughts about what to include. They produced a comprehensive detailed and professional plan of ideas for our outside space. It far exceeded any ideas we had and we were blown away. Our project working with all the team of TSA was outstanding. They were punctual always, friendly, hard working and clearly passionate about what they do. Their communication was A+ and no question or request was ever too difficult. We are beyond thrilled with the finished project and couldn't recommend them more highly.

We had a small backyard and front yard with some complex challenges that required a professional approach. We were extremely impressed from the outset with Paddy Milne, the owner of The Scape Artist, who is not only passionate about gardens and their design but also made himself readily available to meet with us often. His communication skills are excellent and he is so personable. He and his designer Sonia considered our vision for our garden and how we wanted to utilise our spaces and then brought our ideas to life in both 2D and 3D presentations that ‘blew our minds’ with regard to what they felt could be achieved. We were able to make changes to the design to suit our budget. Once our work commenced, we met and observed the skilled TSA Team (Julian, James & Jake) and the many skilled Trades they work with to bring ‘the Design’ to life. We met so many genuine, honest, ‘salt of the earth’ people during our landscaping project who all went out of their way to explain and enlighten us on the work they were undertaking at any given time. The end result is a stunning garden that can be utilised both day and night and is now a very lived in space because of the beauty and the features that have brought love, joy, laughter, activity, rest and relaxation to our outdoor areas, as well as colour, light, water and life in the form of flowers, foliage, birds, beneficial insects, bees and butterflies. We are thrilled and delighted and we are eternally grateful to Paddy and his extended TSA Team who are ‘second to none’ for taking us on a journey with them that has delivered in so many ways and will continue to give us joy for many years to come. We can’t recommend The Scape Artist enough.

Paddy, Sonia and the Triple J’s transformed my sloping front garden into an attractive, stepped and beautifully planted approach to the house. Every aspect of the project went as promised….timelines met, deliveries and work always as predicted. Sonia and Paddy produced a wonderful design of mostly native plants which complements and softens the design of the house and will bring many birds to the garden. The team were wonderful to have around….always cheerful, despite winter weather, helpful and always responsive to any queries. The communication with all the team was impressive so I was never in doubt as to the next steps, the costs involved, who would be on site. I would not hesitate to recommend The Scape Artist for any landscaping.

We were recommended The Scape Artist through a close friend when looking at designing our front garden. We contacted Paddy the owner who advised us to look at a couple of gardens that they had completed around the Ballarat area, we were immediately impressed by the standard and innovative designs. We had a consultation with Paddy who was able to visualise the design for our ideal garden. He then produced a detailed digital plan which gave us no doubt what the finished landscape would look like. From the very beginning Paddy and his team displayed professionalism, a passion and dedication to their work. Paddys honest approach and constant communication left us in no doubt of time frames with our garden. We could not speak highly enough of The Scape Artist team for their courteous manner, attention to detail and their overall customer service was second to none.
