Anthony Scott Landscape Design — Garden Design in St Kilda West, VIC

We worked with Anthony on our landscape designs for our front and back yard. From the very first conversation I had with Anthony, I knew he was the one. He took so much time with me on the phone, explaining the process and listening to my ideas for our space. And this continued throughout the entire process, no question was ever too small and he was always professional, friendly, responsive and obviously exceptional at what he does. We have a large back yard and Anthony worked with us on different options to maximise the impact without blowing the budget. We wanted a pool with a tropical vibe, but we also needed it to be functional for the kids, manageable and not too high maintenance. Anthony listened to all our ideas and produced something amazing, we could not be happier with the transformation that has happened. Anthony also recommended trades and landscapers and this made the process of executing the back yard so smooth and easy for us. All the trades we worked with were excellent which I believe is a reflection on Anthony's integrity and professionalism. He spent so much time with me when I was trying to choose concrete and tile colours, I sent him so many colour combinations and he always took the time to reply with a considered and thoughtful response. Anthony's design had excellent aesthetics but did not meet all requirements and failed to take some things into consideration. He focused too much on his own preferences instead of the clients. Also, most of his recommended plants did not suit the climate, making his already expensive services even more costly.

We engaged Anthony Scott to do or landscape design for our front yard . The brief I gave Anthony was that I wanted something around my new pool that was Wow🎉 . I had researched pools and the common denominator I could find was that lots of pools are put in but they are not space with purpose, they age and rather than being a feature they become a negative for the property. I have a young family but I wanted the space to incorporate not only the kids but the adults to . I really didn’t know what I wanted . Anthony spent time exploring all options with me . In the end I wanted a mid century , old Hollywood resort feel design with no native plants . Anthony delivered the design and I was blown away he is incredibly talented. We built this pool and started the landscaping in the middle of lockdowns and labour shortages. We have had to do a lot more of the work ourselves than we ever anticipated because of these unprecedented times and Anthony has been an incredible support. We felt with Anthony that he was a partner in the build and bringing our dreams to reality. The measurements, the detail and what Anthony delivers is second to none . Anthony Scott was the greatest asset , partner to our build . Anthony is not only super professional, clever , technical we found him an absolute delight to deal with . We could not have got through this project without him . From the colours of the pavers , to the hooks for the towels Anthony has worked with us the whole way . I could not recommend Anthony Scott more highly. The job is nearing completion , planting nearly ready and concreting and paving to come , I will post the completed photos once completed . Anthony & his team were fantastic from start to finish. His meticulous planning & vision were executed brilliantly & professionally. His enthusiasm, knowledge & commitment were first class. We have had so many compliments & even people asking to take photos of our beautiful garden. Anthony has followed up on many occasions to make sure we are managing our watering system & the garden is thriving. The whole process was faultless. We used Anthony 25 years ago to do the paving at our new house. Back then he did an excellent job. When we wanted a "new" backyard, we contacted Anthony again. We met, he listened, he gave us a design. After a few modifications, we settled on a design + price We agreed on a start date, and an approx finish date. What can I say, except he and his team started on the exact date, re-did the whole backyard. New Paving, new grass, new garden beds, new plants, new irrigation system, external lighting, new pathways, new arbor, etc. Result: A great design came to fruition, and we (all the family) are all very much pleased with the final outcome.
