I recently had the pleasure of shopping at the new Dilettante store in Claremont, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who were not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the products. The store itself is beautifully designed, offering a wide range of luxury fashion items and homewares. I was particularly impressed with the newly designed layout of the store, which made my shopping experience very enjoyable. I ended up purchasing several items for social and work occasions. The quality of the products is outstanding, and like nowhere else in Perth. What truly stood out to me was the level of customer service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I was looking for. They provided personalized recommendations and were patient as I tried on multiple items. Their attention to detail and genuine interest in helping me find the perfect pieces made all the difference. Overall, my experience at Dilettante was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of high-quality products, a beautifully curated store, and exceptional customer service makes Dilettante a standout in the luxury retail space. I highly recommend visiting this store if you're looking for an incredible shopping experience in Perth.

My favourite store in Australia. x Dilettante in Claremont, is a haven for those who appreciate unique, expertly curated clothing. The staff are the best part of every experience. Always leave with a smile on my face. :) The service is attentive without being overbearing and the team’s genuine passion for design shines through in their curation and styling advice. I feel Dilettante is a key store within the Perth fashion and retail sense, furnishing an elegant and recently renovated interior providing an opportunity to purchase and experience niche brands limited (at least in Perth) to online stores. With great foundational aspects like this i find my self complexed with why they repeatedly seem to have horrible customer service, experiencing this first hand while shopping with my partner multiple times. To feel like an unwanted guest is annoyingly the first mood you experience when you walk in the store, no friendly 'Hello, how are you today?" or anything of the such, having to wait roughly 20 minutes to see if you require any help or if they have a size/stock baffles me. I'm not sure if this is a requirement to build mystery or the aesthetic of the store however it came across rude and quite counter productive. Their return policy is a constant grey area as well with their website stating to email them with your intention to return within 7 days (somewhat strange i thought ) whilst underneath it quotes "All size exchanges are subject to availability". However this has not been the case with some staff straight up informing us in condescending tones 'they don't exchange sizes after the 7 days'. This would be all good and well if all these problems where a one off however that is far from the truth unfortunately. However there are always exceptions to these interactions with the lady with dark brown hair and glasses always happy and easy going. I feel this store is worth a visit if you enjoy the experience of shopping in physical stores like myself as there are few like this in Perth.
