We are so lucky to live is a place where there are so many public spaces to enjoy, Burwood Park is just one such place. Such a pleasant spot to enjoy a walk, time with family & friends or a picnic. Ample shade, lush lawn and lots of native plants.

Great little park on the upper edge of the foreshore. No playground but there is a war memorial with an old artillery that the kids can climb on. Walking distance from here to the foreshore, and other playgrounds.

Fairly modest reserve set above cliffs offering some lovely views of the Swan River. A noticeable feature is the Quick Firing (QF) 25-pounder gun set at the point where the reserve meets the clifftop path. Details are fairly obscured by thick paint and the relatively poor condition of the gun: - MkII Barrel No.L/? Jacket No.L/2??? B/R No.L/2915 manufactured by SIC in 1941 on a MkI/L/ carriage of unknown manufacture (plates are missing). The related memorial is on the opposite side of the road about 100m west.

Spring flowers and great view. Walk from the WW2 gun along the path above the cliff. Lots of spring flowers appear in August, and the view over the river is great at any time. There are notices explaining about the Nyoongar people's use of the trees and plants.
