I popped into the club for a beer one Friday evening a few months back and was invited to join as a social member by Jo the main barlady. The club, the staff and the members are friendly and relaxing and it has become a regular part of my week - popping in once or twice a week after work. A great setup and very conveniently located too.

Always a delightful experience at the Carlisle and the staff are expectional. Jo is brilliant and genuinely cares for her patrons, down to knowing many regulars drink orders. The welcoming atmosphere has made quickly made the Carlisle Bowls Club a weekly favourite spot!
