Small Motors Mower City — Lawn Mowing in Morley, WA

Took my Husqvarna line trimmer in for a service as I hadn't used it for 6 months and the last service was 2 years ago but I only use it once a month on one lady's property. Was going okay but fuel seemed to be evaporating which turned out to be a cracked tank so that was replaced and the owner suggested a new carburettor and a new spark plug was fitted. I've been using line trimmers since 1983 and mowed 150 lawns so I know my equipment and have done a lot of my own servicing. After I got the machine back it started up fine as it always had but soon as it got hot it just slowed and eventually stopped so I took it back and this time it was deemed to be the spark arrestor so that was cleaned and I got it back, so I drove 40 minutes back to the job which usually takes about 40 minutes to finish off and frustratingly again as soon as the line trimmer got hot it started slowing and sputtering again so it was nothing to do with spark arrestor. Obviously it's carburettor settings as I stated from the outset but that requires a special tool to adjust that you can't buy. Ultimately I'll have to take it elsewhere to someone who actually knows about carburettor adjustments hot and cold and tuning. Wasted hours and hours of my time to have to start all over again. At least before it was going okay but I decided to give it a birthday after a couple of years of using it. All very frustrating really. Probably cheaper to buy a new one in retrospect for what this has all cost me in repair and my labour running are trying to get it fixed and doing the lady's job. I guess the old adage, if it ain't broke don't fix it comes to mind.

Wouldn't go anywhere else! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and happy to spend time imparting their knowledge. They will give you their honest opinion and help you make the right decision and not just sell you the most expensive product. Very grateful we found these guys. The only issue is it takes my husband ages anytime we visit because he loves having a chat.

I cannot speak more highly of the service and advice offered by Small Motors Mower City. I contacted them by phone late in the afternoon and arrived just before closing and was assisted with genuine interest and a wealth of knowledge. It was my first visit and I was treated like a long time valued customer. I highly recommend this business to all.

Extremely easy to deal with and not only had the parts I needed but didn't mind sharing some helpful advice. I used them once in the old shop 10 years ago and service was great then. Obviously genuine

I totally agree with the friendly service, good advise and honest, reasonable prices charged for work done on my two mowers, which now run like when brand new. No wonder they receive such a good name and repeat custom. I also recommend them and will continue using them.
