Best gym I have ever been to. It can be a bit busy sometimes, but honestly, that’s the case everywhere. The Urban Oasis is fantastic too. If you’re looking to take your fitness routine to the next level, I highly recommend Luca Page, an incredible PT at the Surry Hills gym. He has helped me and continues to help me rebuild my confidence. He’s also given me so many smart, effective training and diet tips that actually work, without spending endless hours at the gym.

I’ve had a fantastic experience training at One Playground in Surry Hills with Chloe. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful in how she programs sessions, and genuinely invested in helping you build strength in a safe and sustainable way. What I’ve appreciated most is how confident and supported I feel during training. She really understands how to tailor exercises to the individual, and I’ve felt stronger and more aware. On top of that, she brings such great energy to every session and makes training genuinely fun, which makes a huge difference. I’d highly recommend Chloe to anyone looking for a trainer who is professional, encouraging, and knows how to get results.

I've been going to this gym for almost 10 years and of all the trainers I've had, Jacqueline Thompson has been one of the best I've ever had. Upbeat, but not overly energetic, she's great at going at a pace you're comfortable with while still helping you steadily improve. Due to the relatively small size of they gym, sometimes it can be difficult to get the machine you want as there might be only one. Otherwise if you're looking for a personal trainer, they're pretty good at finding someone who can match your needs.

I’ve been a member of One Playground Surry Hills for over three years, and it truly feels like a second home to me. From day one, the staff have always been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and supportive. The overall vibe of the gym is so motivating and positive that it instantly lifts my mood the moment I walk in. Spanning across three floors, the gym has everything I need for my training, and it has genuinely witnessed all of my personal best moments along the way. I always leave the gym feeling happier, more energised, and proud of myself — every single session makes my day better. A huge part of why my experience has been so special is my coach, Jamie Reeson — quite honestly, the best coach on the planet. Jamie is exceptionally kind, endlessly encouraging, and deeply considerate. He is incredibly professional in tailoring training plans that suit my body, my goals, and my pace. What I value most is that he never compares me to anyone else, which has helped me build confidence, stay focused, and truly enjoy the process. Training with Jamie feels safe, empowering, and motivating, and I always feel seen and supported as an individual. Jamie’s coaching goes far beyond physical training — he creates an environment where you feel confident, respected, and capable.
