Beautiful place for walking, riding, dog walks and playground. Can get busy so be careful if riding. Love the parkrun but quite busy.

Oaklands Wetland Reserve is a beautiful oasis in the middle of suburbia — peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The walking paths wind around stunning wetlands filled with birdlife, native plants, and water features that make it the perfect spot for a stroll, some quiet reflection, or a family outing. There’s plenty of seating, picnic areas, and shaded spots to relax, and the boardwalks give great views of the water and wildlife. The reserve is also very well maintained, with clear signage. A hidden gem that showcases how urban spaces and the environment can coexist beautifully.

Oaklands Wetland is experienced in 2 parts. 1 Formal (neatly laid out) the Eastern side has car parks, grassed lawns, shaded seating, ducks and wide sealed paths taking you around the 2 lakes. 2 Casual (natural) the Western side is flat dirt tracks meandering around awesome River Gums. Surrounded by the wetlands biodiversity it offers a different view of the lakes and bird life. Dogs must be on lead.

The beautiful Landscape is like no other, Spring is in the air because the almond trees are in full bloom. It is the best place to walk, run, take your dog, and most importantly your friends and family.

Oaklands Wetland and Reserve is a quiet and beautiful park. The water area is more than half. It is suitable for walking, jogging, cycling, leisure, barbecue, party and so on. Many waterfowl live here, but don’t feed them bread. It is said that there are many carps in the water, but fishing is prohibited here. There is also a skate park and half basketball court in the north of the park. Parking around the reserve is very convenient. There are public toilets.
