This is probably one of the most beautiful ovals in the area. The lawn is well maintained. The surroundings are nicely planted, and the lawn outside the oval has been perfectly maintained, too. There is a newly reconstructed stand / community hub with function room overseeing the oval available for booking (not for birthday or wedding, etc). I am finding an oval with jogging tracks suitable for exercise. This oval doesn't have a hard jogging track, but the lawn at the perimeter should be hard enough for jogging except after raining. In case there are rugby games undergoing in the oval, perhaps it is not good to go jogging inside.

pretty big oval with 2 grand stands on the side. there are fair few tables, shelters and barbecues around the edge of the oval. directly opposite the grandstands is a big shelter with barbecue and multiple benches along with some nearby tennis courts. the oval is a short 5-10 minute drive from town. there are 2 nearby playgrounds as well with one being significantly bigger than the other. the oval is also well lit at night.

The Unley Oval and the playgrounds that surround it are truly great. The children's playground has a theme which brings its rating up to a two star rating but the older kids playground almost breaks a five level rating for the spinning see saw alone! The theme playground has spongy floor for any failures and delightful seating arrangements nearby. This playground is a golden one!
