really wanted this to be a positive experience, because the in-store team were genuinely lovely, professional, and did everything they could to help me face to face. Unfortunately, the overall experience ended up being extremely disappointing due to what happened after that. I brought in a brand new pair of shoes for sole protection and they were damaged by the hydraulic press during the process. The in-store staff were upfront about the mistake, apologetic, and communicated clearly about possible resolutions. Based on those conversations, I was offered compensation that felt fair and respectful of the fact that the shoes were new, expensive, and had taken months to be made. However, once the issue moved to email communication, the experience completely fell apart. The responses I received did not align with what had been clearly offered and agreed to in person, which left me feeling misled and forced to repeatedly explain and justify myself. What should have been a straightforward resolution turned into a long, exhausting back and forth that took far more time and energy than it ever should have. It’s really frustrating when the in-store team and the email side are clearly not on the same page, especially when the customer is caught in the middle after a mistake they didn’t cause. Huge credit to the staff in store, they were kind, transparent, and tried their best. Unfortunately, the disconnect in follow-up and communication overshadowed that entirely and left a pretty sour taste overall and I have lost my energy trying to follow it up further :(

⭐ 1 STAR – BORDERLINE SCAM BEHAVIOUR This place is a complete joke. I was clearly quoted $250 for a car key card. When it came time to pay, the price suddenly jumped to $450. No warning. No explanation. Just a blatant attempt to rip me off. That alone is bad enough — but the attitude was even worse. The staff member was arrogant, condescending, and unprofessional, and instead of speaking to me directly, he was mumbling under his breath to the boss like I wasn’t standing right there. Absolutely spineless behaviour. This is bait-and-switch pricing, plain and simple. Honest businesses don’t nearly double prices on the spot and then act offended when questioned. There was no accountability, no apology, and no attempt to justify the massive increase — just arrogance. If you value your money or your time, stay far away. There are plenty of places that don’t rely on misleading quotes and attitude to make money. Would not return. Would not recommend. Avoid.

I had a great experience getting my watch fixed here. The staff Derek was very friendly, professional, and took the time to explain what needed to be done. The repair was completed quickly, and my watch is working perfectly again. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable watch repair!

EDIT: I have called and emailed, as advised by owner’s response. I have received no response from them. Their response is just for show to help their bad reviews but they clearly have no intention on fixing the damaged they caused. *********** This place ruined my brand new bridal shoes when putting on rubber soles. They ripped / cut into the satin fabric on both shoes. Can’t undo the damage. I got a $45 refund but it doesn’t fit the issue. My bridal shoes weren’t cheap…

What a great team at Mister Minit Victoria Gardens Richmond. I stopped by with a pair of my all time favourite shoes “ Crepe soled suede English Creepers”. Soles were shot to pieces but I kept wearing them as I just couldn’t find a shoe repairer who felt confident they could be repaired. Until that is, I stopped by Mister Minit. They took a look, knew the shoe style immediately and suggested a solution using a stronger rubber material. I was stoked! I left the shoes feeling ‘hopeful’ but not confident. Well, 48 hrs later, Boom! Fixed! But not just fixed, better than new👍🏼. Very impressed with the work and the young guys that run the place are super nice and very professional. I could not recommend them more highly! Nice work MM team!! And Ive just added some before pics. Great stuff!
