The system is user friendly and easy to navigate. However it is almost useless. It sends project details based on the keywords you set up, however most of the consultant specs are generic and most of the HVAC products are mentioned in the specs while they are not really required. That means I get notification for projects for particular products and when I check all docs they are not required. If their keyword search is based on equipment schedule ( not their specs) then this can be an effective system while the current set up is only wasting time. Having said that there are services there which are useful but the main thing for tenders is to work on tenders which require our products or services.

Unfortunately for us it was not suitable at this price point. Many list projects but you can't access documents to determine if viable. As a product supplier to contractors, it was difficult to determine if we could map our products to the project requirements. In addition the keyword searches, while they work, always hit on old words, sub words or existing product, making 99/100 results a waste of time and very unproductive. It really needs some AI to narrow down to more specific new product requirements.

We use Estimate 1 to review propsective projects and gain a feel of the market. Using this platform we added approx $12m to our order book over the last 12 months. The GUI is easy to navigate and the framework quite intuitive, placing 'interested' or invite projects into a watchlist for easy follwo up and monitoring.

Hi Alex Estimate one is a very easy system to use. The platform is intuitive, well laid out and makes sending out tenders quick and efficient, From an operational point of view, it does exactly what it should and is simple to manage day to day. However, the biggest disappointment has been the lack of meaningful engagement from builders. Around 95% of the tenders, we submit receive no feedback at all even when we try to make contact, which makes it very difficult to improve our pricing, scope or overall offering. Despite using the system consistently, we cannot remember the last project we secured through estimate one. While the software itself works well, the value of the platform is limited when there is little accountability or feedback from the tendering side.
