Great place can’t believe they are not open on a Saturday. My order finally came in and they organised for someone to be at the shop so I could pick it up on a Saturday.

Unhelpful, rude, no customer service. Felt very judged walking in. Lady was on her computer and ignored me for about 3 minutes. Definitely never coming back.

How is Mitre 10 still a business in 2024 when they are so utterly hopeless and rude? Due to the way the business is structured, there is no accountability and communication between stores and head office. Staff are useless, unhelpful and seem resentful. Click and collect orders can't be filled. Warehouse orders are backed up until August but they don't bother to update their website or let you know if you're order is delayed. Chase it up and you get fobbed off, told it's got nothing to do with them and they dont care. It's a shame to have to give all my business to the only other competitor but I'll never shop at Mitre 10 again. Mitre 10 disgraced their name during the pandemic with inhuman treatment of customers, and it seems things have only continued to decline. Mitre 10 deserves nothing more than to go out of business and fade into obscurity as a distant and unwelcome memory.

I was recently looking for a new timber supplier and whilst this location has a great range of timber and hardware supplies I manage to spend about 20 minutes in the store without being approached by any of the team members. At the time I arrived it was about 3:30 pm in the afternoon and the two members that were working at the time were too busy discussing the income in award increases. Although the store seems to have a decent enough range it was rather disappointing that I manage to walk past a few team members on multiple occasions and not be acknowledged.
